India soon will be connected nation. After Google and Facebook, It looks like China's one of the leading company Alibaba is aiming to offer internet connectivity in India. Alibaba is been reportedly in talks with operators and Wi-Fi providers to offer low price options and other free of cost connectivity plans.

"We will definitely look at the opportunity to work together with service providers or even some Wi-Fi providers. We are trying to offer lower cost data to users and better connectivity, even free of cost connectivity. Wi-Fi providers and other players can be potentials and we are in a talk," Jack Huang, President of Overseas Business, Alibaba Mobile Business added.

Company main focus would be in that region where internet services are still poor and people cannot access the internet. Also in a region where users have the internet, a comprehensive analysis would be done to see the actual need.

Alibaba isn't the first to provide this kind of service. Free Internet in the country has already been in functioning with similar aims. India does not allow anyone to connect content with usage. If Alibaba is looking at connecting its own content to the free usage it will have many issues with the telecom regulator and face problem.
