Can YOU spot the difference? Instagram star Pia Muehlenbeck hits out at tea company after it PHOTOSHOPPED their product on to her social media snaps

Australian Instagram star, Pia Muehlenbeck, hit out at a tea company on Tuesday
The 26-year-old said that Skinny Mint had taken and photoshopped her images
The company had inserted their product into snaps from her Instagram page
Since Pia tweeted about it, other Instagram stars have leapt to her defence
'What! That is so dodgy!,' beauty vlogger, Chloe Morello, tweeted
'We are sorry, we didn't properly think through the consequences,' company said
In the murky world of #ad and #sponsored content, it can be hard to know when a celebrity is really endorsing a product and when they are simply being paid to advertise it.
This situation is made hugely more confusing when the company in question photoshops their product into the photographs of a digital influencer.
Just ask Pia Muehlenbeck. The Australian Law graduate turned social media star took to Twitter on Tuesday to hit back at tea company, Skinny Mint.
The tea business had taken her Instagram snaps, photoshopped in their products and shared them on their own social media pages.

While the 26-year-old Law grad turned social media star's original picture (above) featured Pia in a grey bikini, the Skinny Mint picture had their Morning Boost tea in the corner (pictured)

'@SkinnyMintCom are illegally stealing my photos and photoshopping their products in to my photos. Anyone have any advice on this matter,' Pia originally tweeted

Another snap used by the brand (see original above) showed Pia in a low-cut one piece next to the Skinny Mint tea which had been photoshopped in (pictured)
'@SkinnyMintCom are illegally stealing my photos and photoshopping their products in to my photos. Anyone have any advice on this matter,' Pia originally tweeted.
The 26-year-old then shared two Instagram snaps she posted several months ago, and the Skinny Mint pictures which feature both their 28 Day Teatox and Morning Boost teas in her own shots.
'Original photo. Stolen photo with @SkinnyMintCom product photoshopped in to place. Obviously fake,' Pia wrote beside one photo where she is wearing a grey bikini.

She tweeted that she wanted to call out Skinny Mint on Instagram, but didn't 'want to give them the publicity' (pictured: Pia Muehlenbeck's tweets)

Pia, who runs her own sports label, SLINKII Athletic, also posted: 'Imagine if I started photoshopping SLINKII yoga pants on to girls in other brands. Such a stupid business choice'

Other influencers leapt to Pia Muehlenbeck's (pictured) defence, including beauty vlogger, Chloe Morello, and Gabby Epstein

Pia's tweets (pictured) received plenty of other attention from others online

Pia drew attention to the fact that she felt the tea company had 'photoshopped (very badly) their tea in to place' (pictured)

In a statement released by Skinny Mint, the company said: 'We are sorry, we didn't properly think through the consequences'
'Here's another photo that @SkinnyMintCom have stolen and photoshopped (very badly) their tea in to place,' the Instagram star wrote beside another post where she is wearing a low-cut white one-piece.
Pia said that she wanted 'to call them out on my Instagram stories' - where she has close to two million followers - 'but don't want to give them the publicity', she added.
'Unfortunately, they would probably actually get more sales if I made this IP theft more public.'
The 26-year-old, who runs her own luxury sports label, SLINKII Athletic, also posted: 'Imagine if I started photoshopping SLINKII yoga pants on to girls wearing other brands. Such a stupid business choice.'

They continued: We were inspired by Sugar bear hair who is photoshopping images and getting a lot of positive feedback. Obviously it didn't wor
